A 25-year-old Barrie man is charged with impaired driving after a citizen called South Simcoe Police Service about a vehicle travelling erratically on County Road 4 in Bradford.

On Sunday, April 28, 2019 around 10:30 p.m., an officer who responded to the call conducted a vehicle stop. Police made a demand for a roadside screening device test. After a fail was registered, the male driver was arrested and transported to North Division. Breath tests resulted in readings over the legal limit and the driver was charged with over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven.

Thank you to the citizen who called in this suspected impaired driver. Our roads are safer when we work together to stop impaired driving.
