HAMILTON — Police say a second suspect in a Hamilton murder has been brought back to Canada after fleeing the country.
Investigators say the two suspects fled to Eastern Europe within 24 hours of the Feb. 28, 2021 shooting that killed 39-year-old Tyler Pratt and seriously injured a 26-year-old woman.
They say Oliver Karafa, 28, and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li were arrested in Budapest in June of last year.
Police say Li was returned to Canada a month later, but the extradition process took longer for Karafa.
They say he was escorted back to Hamilton on Wednesday.
