HAMILTON — Head coach June Jones expects to have one of his big-play performers back with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' offence.
Receiver Brandon Banks practised at full speed Wednesday as the Ticats prepared to host the B.C. Lions on Saturday afternoon. Banks has missed Hamilton's last two games with a hamstring injury.
"Speedy, I think, is going to be fine," Jones told reporters afterwards.
Banks is Hamilton's leading receiver with 69 catches for 1,033 yards and seven TDs. He's recorded eight 100-yard games this season.
Jones said receiver Terrence Tolliver remains in concussion protocol but could be a game-time decision Saturday. Tolliver was injured in Hamilton's 35-32 overtime loss to B.C. last weekend.
Neither defensive tackle Jason Neill (hamstring) nor defensive end Jamaal Westerman (sprained ankle) will play Saturday, Jones said. The Ticats coach said he expects defensive end Adrian Tracy (severe thigh bruise) to practise Thursday.
