Dedication of Ron Simpson Park

Ron Simpson Park (formerly Dreamfields Park), 251 Crossland Blvd., BWG
Mayor Rob Keffer and members of council will be joined by members of the Simpson family for this special event honouring the late BWG politician who was instrumental in guiding the design and construction of the local police station, library and leisure centre.
Simpson was first elected to the Township of West Gwillimbury council in 1986, and he was on the inaugural amalgamated council of Bradford West Gwillimbury in 1991. With the exception of one term, he served on council until 2014, the year he died.
