There are a few St. Patrick’s Day events happening in Bradford West Gwillimbury and area this weekend, plus several other family-friendly activities.
SATURDAY, MARCH 16
Yoga
9 a.m. to noon
Trinity Anglican Church, 62 Church St., Bradford
Cost is $15 each session or five sessions for $60
The yoga style is restorative in nature with an emphasis on mobility. The target group is 50+ but these yoga classes can certainly benefit most age groups. Beginners are welcome. Classes are every Saturday in March.
Seedy Saturday
9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
BWG Public Library, 425 Holland St. W., Bradford
The new BWG Seed Library holds its first Seedy Saturday, with displays, gardening workshops, kids’ activities, vendors and displays.
Barrie Spring Garden and Home Show
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Great prizes, live fashion shows at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday, plus vendors and demonstrations.

Talent Show Auditions

Got talent? The Tec-we-Gwill Women’s Institute is holding a talent show, and is looking for musicians, singers, dancers, actors, comedians, magicians, etc., from across South Simcoe.

Library Lockdown: Charlie’s Chocolate Factory

St. Paddy’s Day Party

Bradford legion, 115 Back St.
Featuring live music with Rikki’s Rock Slide, prizes for Best Green Outfit, sandwiches and snacks.
Tickets are $10 per person, plus an item of non-perishable food for the food bank. Available at the legion or by calling 905-775-5025.
