Students to experience applied math in STEM Industry Tour

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math industry experts will challenge students to try what they learn

Over the next month, Grade 10 math students at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board will get hands-on experience from industry experts in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields.

The Board has partnered with Innovative Automation Inc. of Barrie to bring industry experience to the schools where students are exposed to STEM-oriented career paths. Students will speak to industry professionals, as well as Lakehead University students, and participate in a hands-on STEM-related challenge.

Each high school has a scheduled day to participate in the industry tour. All media are welcome to attend any of the below dates.
