Scholar's Education Centre officially open for business (5 photos)

Scholar's Education Centre hosted its grand opening event this weekend

It was a long summer, but now Scholar's Education Centre is officially accepting new clients at their new Bradford location. 

The tutoring facility held its grand opening event on Saturday with members of council and the Bradford Board of Trade in attendance. Even, MP Scot Davidson made an appearance to give his congratulations.

"It's small businesses like this that drives Bradford West Gwillimbury and the rest of Canada," said Davidson. 

"This is a great community here, I know this will be well used."

Ward 1 Coun. Raj Sandhu spoke on behalf of council noting how important it is to have such a facility in the town, to help children with their studies. 

There was food and cake to commemorate the ocasion, while husband and wife owners John Wager and Risa Fine welcomed and thanked guests for attending. 

The couple live in Bradford and also own the Scholar's Education Centre in Newmarket. 

The business aims to provide assistance in any subject area, including math, reading, science, French, just to name a few.
