Even COVID couldn't keep Santa away from visiting Bradford West Gwillimbury.
In lieu of this year's Santa Claus Parade, the Town of BWG hosted its first-ever 'Spot Santa' with the Big Guy in Red touring the streets of town on his North Pole float, waving to all the children and families outside their homes.
Santa had a set route, visiting the north side of town in the morning, followed by the south quadrant in the afternoon.
The response on the Town's Facebook page was overwhelming, with residents following along, posting photos and letting others know where he was on his route. Some even joked about the speed at which he passed by the homes.
Overall the response was positive, with Santa bringing a bit of Christmas cheer and magic to the children of Bradford.
Next Saturday, Nov. 28, Santa will be touring through Bond Head starting at 11 a.m. The route map can be found here.
