The official launch of Holland Haus, an eight-storey condominium complex, opened its sales office doors for the first time to the public on Monday night.
The Bradford Board Of Trade, members of council and community members joined the Corsi family to celebrate the occasion with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
"This launch has taken four years of hard work by all the parties to arrive at where we are today," said Coun. Peter Dykie.
The location of this 99-suite condominium is to be built in the west end of downtown Bradford, close to the Holland Haus Sales Centre at 160 Holland St. West. Move-ins are expected in March 2025.
BradfordToday spoke with sales representative Paola Corsi who noted there are 15 design options buyers can choose from.
"Our first floor will be select retailers along with a grand lobby to welcome tenants and visitors," she explained. "In addition, we have a gaming room as well as a health and fitness area with state-of-the-art equipment.”
The sales office featured a detailed miniature model of the entire condominium complex. The complex will use an innovative fossil-fuel-free geothermal system for cooling and heating, which will conserve and recycle water. This will reduce the size of its carbon footprint, reducing maintenance costs and energy operating costs.
Beside the condo complex will be 10 townhouse residences, complete with rooftop terraces, lavish details and finishings along with prominent architectural designs.
Deputy Mayor James Leduc, and councillors Jonathan Scott and Mark Contois were an integral part of closing the deal on the project.
"It's such an exciting step forward!" said Scott.
