Leaves are falling, the air is getting cooler and Pumpkin Fest will ‘leaf’ you loving fall even more.

The Town of BWG is hosting its sixth annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Henderson Memorial Park. Pumpkin Fest is a family-friendly event featuring live music, busker performances, wagon rides, a farmers’ market, and various other activities including pumpkin carving (one per child, while supplies last), an inflatable corn maze, mini-golf, crafts, a caricature artist, and more.

Join us on the main stage for entertainment by local band The Generation Gap, along with kid-friendly entertainment and music from Team T & J, Russ Clayton, and the Fitness Dri-Tri (row, run, rep challenge; pre-registration required for Dri-Tri). BWG Fire and Emergency Services will also be at the event, providing public education and a special visit from the fire truck.

We are also excited to share that the Bradford Farmers’ Market has extended its event schedule by one week and is bringing its vendors to Pumpkin Fest. Food and treats will also be sold at the event including a barbecue fundraiser hosted by the Bradford Lions Club, tacos and corn from Hay Caramba restaurant, and delicious treats from Sweet B’s Bakery.

Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank will also be on site accepting non-perishable food items. They are currently in need of breakfast cereal, juice boxes, pasta sauce, baked beans, canned soup, canned fruit, cereal bars, Kraft Dinner, soap, deodorant, menstrual products, diapers (size 5 and 6) and wipes, shampoo, and toothpaste.

This event is made possible thanks to our generous sponsors: New Roads Automotive Group, the Curtis Goddard Team, Summerlyn Dental, and Experience Simcoe County.
