The leaves are falling, the air is getting cooler and Pumpkin Fest will ‘leaf’ you loving fall even more.

Join the Town of BWG for their seventh annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Henderson Memorial Park.

Pumpkin Fest is a free family-friendly event featuring live music, busker performances, wagon rides, pumpkin carving (one per child, while supplies last), the Bradford Farmers’ Market, an inflatable corn maze, mini-golf, face painting, and more. We are also pleased to welcome BWG Fire and Emergency Services, who will be providing public education and a visit from the fire truck.

Join us on the main stage for live music and entertainment, featuring local band Kurtis + The Crosswinds, music from Team T & J and Russ Clayton, Fitness Dri-Tri (ride, reps, run challenge pre-registration required, and other kid-friendly entertainment.

We are excited to share that the Bradford Farmers’ Market will be extending its schedule by one week in order to bring its vendors to Henderson Memorial Park for Pumpkin Fest. Food, drinks and sweets will also be available for sale by local BWG businesses including Sweet B’s, Hay Caramba, Holland Marsh Food Market, Jo’s Juice Jazz, Mister Treats, Ms. Richies Kitchen, as well as a fundraising barbecue by the Bradford Lions.

Event details

Date and time: Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Location: Henderson Memorial Park, 3171 9th Line (just west of Sideroad 10)

Parking on site is limited. Overflow parking is available at Henderson Field (3200 Sideroad 10) with a walking path to Henderson Memorial Park.

A free shuttle bus service is being offered by Voyago and BWG Transit, to and from the Bradford and District Memorial Community Centre (125 Simcoe Rd.) and Henderson Memorial Park.

Please view our transit routes and schedules for regular transit service. Fees apply. Riders can transfer from the Holland Street/Simcoe Road stop and take the shuttle to the event.

The Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank will be on site at Pumpkin Fest, accepting non-perishable food items. They are currently in need of peanut butter, juice and juice boxes, canned tuna and salmon, breakfast cereal, canned soups and stews, and pasta and pasta sauce.

Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions will also be running their Halloween for Teens drive, where they collect high-need items for teenagers for the holiday season including gift cards (fast food, clothing, electronics, and video games), art supplies, and sports equipment. All items must be in brand-new condition.
