Special weather statement in effect for:
• Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
• Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago
Rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 mm are expected.
Rain is expected to return to the region beginning overnight Tuesday and ending early Thursday morning. Total rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 mm are forecast.
The ground has limited ability to absorb further rainfall.
Flood messaging is in effect for much of central and eastern Ontario. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry District Office.
This rainfall is associated with a Texas Low that will track across Southern Ontario Wednesday and Wednesday night.
