I'm here. And I'm on the hunt for good stories.
For those of you I haven't met yet, I'm the new editor for BradfordToday and InnisfilToday.
However, I do consider myself a familiar face around these parts, having worked for The Barrie Advance as city hall reporter since 2016. All told, I've got about two decades of experience in journalism, and I've written for publications across Simcoe County and York Region — once upon a time, I even served for five years as editor of the now defunct Innisfil Scope.
I live in this community. My kids play sports and go to school here. My family shops and dines in local establishments. I believe these experiences provide unique perspective into what matters to our readers, allowing us to enhance our local coverage. My goal is to help cement BradfordToday and InnisfilToday as the publications of record within their respective municipalities.
