NEW TECUMSETH - Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) announced the delivery of
their first baby of the New Year on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020.
Proud parents, Kathra Baker and Nial Bolton welcomed baby Lilah at 9:23 a.m., weighing 8 lbs 9 oz. Lilah was delivered by Crissy Hull, RM (midwife) and assisted by Holly Ryan, RM from Alliston Midwives.
Lilah is one of four babies that will be delivered at SMH on the first day of 2020.
"We are absolutely thrilled to ring in 2020 with the birth of baby Lilah, as well as the delivery of three additional bundles of joy," says Bridget Mitchell, Manager of Obstetrics and Peri-Operative Services at SMH.
"To have not only one, but four babies born in our obstetrics unit to start the year is so exciting to us. We are honoured to have so many families choose to deliver at SMH and to provide a comfortable,safe and memorable experience for them."
