In southern Simcoe County, the view of Monday’s solar eclipse was largely obstructed by heavy clouds. However, the sun and moon did manage to peek through for a few fleeting moments around the time of maximum coverage — about 98 per cent — at 3:19 p.m.
According to timeanddate.com, partial coverage in Innisfil Heights started at 2:05 p.m., lasting two hours and 26 minutes.
