Provincial police closed Highway 400 in both directions between Mapleview Drive and Innisfil Beach Road, Tuesday evening.
The northbound and southbound lanes were shut down for a "police investigation" around 7 p.m.
The OPP said shortly before 7:30 p.m. that all lanes had re-opened.
