The Remembrance Day parade in Bradford West Gwillimbury may have already happened, but there are still three events this weekend in which local residents can participate to honour veterans.

Remembrance Dinner

Nov. 10, 6 p.m.

Royal Canadian Legion hall, 115 Back St., Bradford

Tickets are $22 per person. Veterans should contact 905-775-5025 for a free ticket.

Remembrance Day service

Nov. 11, 10:30 a.m.

Cenotaph at the Bradford legion, 115 Back St.

Bells of Peace

Nov. 11, sundown

Bells of Peace will ring out, marking the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War, the evening of Nov. 11 at 4:56 p.m. at the Bradford Legion, 115 Back St. The bell will toll 100 times. All are welcome to this unique, once-in-a-lifetime ceremony.
