Health professionals have advised the safest way to watch the eclipse is by a live stream, and if the clouds don't dissipate, it might be the only way to see it today!
If you're watching the eclipse outside, be safe and use proper eye protection -- sunglasses won't be strong enough. Keep your pets indoors, and supervise kids at all times to make sure they keep their eye protection in place.
Collingwood is not in the path of totality, so while most of the sun will be blocked this afternoon for a few minutes, it will not be safe to remove protective eyewear.
