The Bradford Farmers’ Market, indoor version, will be open only twice more this season – this Saturday, Dec. 15, and next weekend, Dec. 22.
Both will be Christmas markets.
Look for fresh produce from local farms for holiday entertaining, baked goods and treats, holiday gift baskets, homemade jams and preserves, maple products, and selection of crafters and artisans bringing their creations to the Zima Room at the BWG Public Library, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lake Simcoe Coffee Co. will be brewing up coffees and espressos. The Bond Head Women’s Institute will be selling its fundraising calendars featuring historic churches of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
And this Saturday, Saskia Sloeserwij of Say Cheese! artisanal cheese invites everyone to drop in for a unique cider-and-cheese pairing. Sample the sheep milk cheeses, specialty cheeses and dairy products of Say Cheese!, made in the European tradition, paired with ciders from Heritage Estates Winery & Cidery in Barrie, for holiday entertaining ideas.
There will also be crafts and a kids’ scavenger hunt starting at 10 a.m., cookie-decorating starting at 11:30 a.m., and more.
