A drive-by retirement parade was held on Friday night in honour of BWG Volunteer Firefighters Association President, Allan Grant.
BWG Fire crews, South Simcoe Police, family and friends took part in the drive-by salute, thanking him for his services and wishing him the best in his next chapter of life.
Grant has been the president of the association since 1997 and has helped organize many local fundraising events, with money going back to help the community.
In addition to his role with BWG Fire, he is also a full time Firefighter with the Town of Vaughan. He retires from that role at the end of this month.
Congratulations Allan, and thank you for your dedication and service to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
