STEVENSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

NEW TECUMSETH – The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) kicked off a fourmonth 50/50 draw series on November 1, 2020 in support of the Hospital’s redevelopment. SMHF is pleased to announce the January draw’s winning jackpot was $5,415. Congratulations to Fayaaz Kala, the lucky winner!
Stevenson is Fayaaz and his family’s local community hospital. “We are so blessed to have won this money during these difficult times. We are so thankful and grateful. We plan to put money aside for our girls’ education and donate some money for celiac research; as my wife has recently been diagnosed with celiac disease, and there just isn’t enough resources and support for her and others who also suffer from celiac disease. Thank you so much to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation for all that you do!”
The draw is a fun and accessible way for everyone in the community to take part in supporting the redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital. February’s 50/50 draw is the last of the four-month draw series. Ticket sales begin Feb. 1, 2021 and the draw will be held on Feb. 26, 2021. Winning ticket numbers will be posted on the website as well as the SMH Foundation’s social media channels. Tickets are 5 for $10, 20 for $20 or 100 for $40, and the winner is guaranteed to win a minimum of $1,000. To date, the winners of the SMHF 50/50 draw series have received $12,960 in cash prizes, don’t hesitate get your tickets today!
Because of you, we can is the largest and most significant campaign in the Foundation’s history to date, and the need for the community’s support could not be more critical. Of the total $43 million goal, $30 million represents the community share of the redevelopment project, which includes doubling the square footage of the Hospital and tripling the amount of parking space. A revitalized emergency department, refreshed outpatient rooms, birthing suites and laboratory space are also included in the plans.
