CONTACT Community Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Tina de los Santos as its new executive director.

A dynamic non-profit leader with 20 years of experience, Tina brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, program development and organizational leadership. Her career has spanned local and international initiatives, with a strong focus on community impact, youth engagement, and non-profit capacity building.

“Tina’s passion for community-driven solutions, combined with her track record of expanding services and fostering partnerships, makes her the ideal person to lead CONTACT into the future,” said Jennifer Lloyd, board chair. “Her vision and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of south Simcoe residents with inclusive, accessible and impactful programs.”

Most recently, Tina served as lead consultant with LURE Communications, where she worked with non-profits across Ontario to strengthen organizational capacity, diversify funding streams and enhance service accessibility. She has successfully led teams of more than 50 staff, built cross-sector partnerships and implemented innovative programs that address both local and systemic challenges.

“I am honoured to join CONTACT Community Services and excited to build on its incredible legacy of supporting individuals and families in south Simcoe,” said de los Santos. “I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, volunteers and community partners to continue expanding services and ensuring that everyone in need receives the housing and employment support they deserve.”

A Beeton resident, Tina combines local knowledge with a global perspective, informed by her experience working in Mexico and India and her collaborations with feminist practitioners worldwide, including the Bradford Women’s+ Group. Tina is pursuing a master’s of education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, and a bachelor’s degree in international development from York University. She is a dedicated advocate for women, youth empowerment and community partnerships, aligning perfectly with CONTACT’s mission to create stronger, healthier communities.
