Join the newest and fastest-growing Royal Canadian Air Cadets squadron — 37 Orville Hand Squadron.

If you are curious, you will appreciate the hands-on activities such as building model aircraft.

If you are scholarly, you will appreciate an introduction to the various tools and technologies linked to aviation.

If you are a dreamer, you will appreciate the evolution of technology and the advancements of the aerospace era, including the importance of Canadian participation.

If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, come join 37 Orville Hand Squadron every Thursday at a local school in Bradford from 7 to 9 p.m.

Members of the Air Cadets program will be given opportunities to fly in an airplane or glider during their time with the cadets.

Join us on Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. for registration and 7:30 p.m. for the recruitment presentation and Q&A session. The location will be updated on the website at a later date. Recruit applications will be accepted both online and in person on that day. The online application can be found here.

Royal Canadian Air Cadets participate in a variety of fun and challenging activities. There is something for everyone — no matter what their personal interests may be.

The outdoor enthusiast will appreciate learning survival skills for flight crew.

The athlete will appreciate physical education and recreation, including a variety of sporting activities like biathlon and Olympic-style marksmanship.

The artists will find their niche in the music program.

Come out and meet some of the squadron sponsoring committee this Saturday, Aug. 20 at Carrot Fest and pick up an application and meet an honoured veteran.
