CANDIDATE BRIAN CARRUTHERS

During the 2018 Municipal election, Brian Carruthers was runner up to Gary Baynes.
Brian says, “I only met Mr. Baynes once, we chatted for some time. I was impressed by his gentle nature, and I didn’t mind losing to him. Gary lived his entire life here, and was a well respected candidate. It is sad that he has passed."
Mayor Rob Keffer met with Brian prior to BWG announcing the Ward 2 seat vacancy and subsequently advised the council during regular meeting.
The mayor says, “I did meet with Brian Carruthers and I was very impressed with his qualifications and his knowledge.”
