Bradford Wolves soccer club on the hunt for new players

The club is looking to add more players to the team

The Bradford Wolves are back in action and the wolf pack is on the hunt for new players. Fall registration is now open and the organization is accepting beginners all the way up to adult leagues over the age of 35.

The Bradford Wolves’ home field is located at Cericola Field at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre, providing kids with training and development through the shared love of soccer.

“The early years are so important when teaching kids the game,” shares Michael Gutta, vice president of the Bradford Wolves Soccer Club and owner of Bradford-based business Addictive Design, which sponsors the club and provides the teams with their branded apparel.

All soccer training sessions are run by qualified coaching staff and the club keeps a 12:1 ratio of kids to coaches at all times.

“This ensures each child gets the proper attention needed to enhance and develop his/her skills,” adds Gutta.

Gutta says players were happy to return to play again after many Covid-lockdowns. This year, the Wolves have doubled in capacity but with very strict caps on the number of children entered into the program per season.

“As much as we love to accept every child, we are focusing on the quality and ensuring we have the proper coaches, equipment, and protocols in place,” he says. “Having more isn’t always best, but having the quality to enhance the experience or lessons are, so, that’s what we focus on.”

The Bradford Wolves recently held their open house event, but are still welcoming kids to experience the Wolves soccer program.

“As soon as I stepped on the field, I was in awe of how well organized the club was,” shared Bradford mother Kamila Wojciechowska. “I was greeted with a friendly smile (which) made me feel very comfortable. I knew immediately that this was the right place for my son.”

Wojciechowska said her son ran onto the field determined to make the team. The coaches welcomed him and made him feel as though he was already part of that team.

“In no time he made friends and began to learn new soccer skills,” she says. “I cannot wait to watch him continue to grow his skills and advance as a soccer player. I would recommend the Wolves Soccer Club to any parent – Go Wolves Go!”

“We are always looking to improve our service offering, whether it be internally or on the field, we strive to be Bradford premium offering soccer and fitness,” says Gutta.
