BRADFORD SKATING CLUB

Recently, a number of our local skaters competed in North York Summer Skate. Skaters from across the province competed in an attempt to secure a qualification score for the Skate Ontario Sectional Championships in November. Sectionals is the first step skaters take toward competing at the Canadian Championships in January.
Cristina Lyons placed 3rd in the novice ladies short program portion of her event. Sarah Bi placed 2nd in the pre-novice ladies short program portion of her event and 5th overall. Damian Obidin placed 2nd in the pre-juvenile U11 event. Kate MacPhee and Damian Obidin placed first in the pre-juvenile pairs event.
Registration is now open for the Bradford Skating Club's 2019-20 fall/winter programs - CanSkate and Hockey Edges. Registration is open on their website here. In-person registration at the BWG Leisure Centre is on Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sept. 25 from 5 - 7 p.m.
