Earlier this week Bradford resident Ilse Polinski celebrated her 85th birthday.
Mayor Rob Keffer and Coun. Peter Ferragine made a special visit to her and husband Ron's home on Saturday to present her with a certificate acknowledging the milestone birthday and to give their good wishes, "with happiness and good health."
"We had a nice little chat with Ilse," said Ferragine. "Ilse lives in Ward 5, so it was a pleasure to be present with the mayor to present her with the certificate."
Isle enjoyed a nice birthday dinner with her family, and joked she would only have to take care of "some of the preparations."
