There is a new face, but a familiar name, now at the helm of Bradford's Pet Valu.
After 27 years of building the Pet Valu store in Bradford into a successful enterprise, Liz and Bob Pegg decided to sell the store and retire from that part of their life.
They were relieved when their daughter, Jennifer Pegg, expressed her interest in taking the reins. That interest became a reality on Saturday.
Jennifer Pegg said she wants to build on the traditions her parents created, supporting charities, sponsoring South Simcoe Police Service Dog 'Nitro' as well as creating her own, such as Walk For Dog Guides.
Liz and Bob Pegg, who are very active members of the Bradford Lions Club, plan to continue their volunteer work in Bradford.
The store officially marked its reopening Saturday with local dignitaries and politicians ... and lots of pet owners.
