It's gardening season and Bradford Greenhouses has recently launched their new eCommerce website to allow for contactless pickup service.
All products including flowers, vegetables, plants, hanging baskets, tubs, planters and tools – are now available online.
With physicall distancing and isolation, many have turned to gardening as an outlet for their energy, and a way to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Purchasing product directly from local growers in the area, not only helps local business but ensures customers are receiving high quality, fresh product.
Gabrielle Polman, Assistant Store Manager of Bradford Greenhouses, Barrie location, said this year the most popular products so far this year include mulch, grass seed, perennials, shrubs as well as birdseed and indoor plants.
"People are trying to keep busy and get to projects that they usually don’t have time for when they’re busy working," she said.
Mother's Day is coming up on May 10, and the shop has a variety of hanging baskets and planters for great gift ideas.
"We also have a beautiful flower shop full of talented designers that customers can still take advantage of on our website. Our floral designers are on hand to help with choosing the right flower for the right time and the right person," said Polman.
