Local realtor Jessica Harcourt from Century 21 compiled a list of Bradford residences who agreed to participate in a drive-by, self-guided tour of house & lawn light displays for the holidays.
Harcourt also put together the popular Halloween residential map which showcased several Bradford homes that featured extravagant Halloween decorations.
“The Halloween light show was wildly successful," notes Harcourt. “The community responded well to that one, so I thought if this was something I could put together again for the community – why not!”
Harcourt drove around and left notes on the doorsteps of some homes that were greatly decorated with lights, and used social media to advertise she was collecting addresses for those who wanted to be featured.
The light map includes 32 participating Bradford homes who submitted their addresses to Harcourt, along with a map of the town showing where all the ‘lit-up’ homes were located.
“66 Crown is fantastic," shares Harcourt. “As well as Royal Court, West Park Ave, and Faris Street."
Harcourt notes that she did not want to make it too complicated and turned down residents who heard about the opportunity but lived too far out of town to participate.
“It’s free, it’s safe, and enjoyable for everybody right now in such a bizarre world right now," expresses Harcourt.
Harcourt adds that if anyone wants a hard copy of the map and list of addresses, they can be picked up in person at her office – Century 21 Heritage Group at 49 Holland Street West, Bradford.
“I want to thank everyone for volunteering their addresses!” expresses Harcourt.
Participants have stated their light displays and will most likely be up until after New Years Eve.
