Wishing Well Sanctuary celebrated its 10 year anniversary on Sunday with a family fall festival.
The rain held off for wagon rides, vegan food, face painting, vendors, games, silent auction, and music.
The 51-acre animal sanctuary, located on the 10th Line in Bradford, is home to a number of rescue animals including pigs, roosters, cats, goats, llamas, and cows.
The event was a way to bring the community together, and help celebrate the charity's 10th year.
Mayor Rob Keffer and Coun. Jonathan Scott made an appearance and presented owner Brenda Bronfman with a certificate of congratulations.
Bronfman has always had a passion for animals and was a volunteer with the Humane Society for many years. She grew up with dogs and felt an emotional connection to animals from a very young age. Her goal is to offer therapeutic programs to help people make better choices in life and include team-building sessions, compassion fatigue workshops, yoga with sheep, and nature walks.
All proceeds raised from the event are going toward the Sanctuary programs and specialized care of the animals, including food and supplies.
Wishing Well Sanctuary is a Federally registered charitable organization.
