The Olundara Foundation is set to host their annual Black History Conference in partnership with the BWG Public Library on Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can expect local vendors, engaging speakers, cultural music, and an opportunity to network in a free, family-friendly environment.
The mosaic for this year’s conference is “Black is Limitless,” encouraging attendees to engage in meaningful conversations about Black excellence and representation. Featured vendors will include local, Black-owned businesses offering food, health and wellness products, clothing, accessories, and services.
Hosts Omolara Akarele and Folashade Okomayin will guide attendees through the day’s activities and introduce guest speakers and entertainers. “Black excellence is not a destination; it’s a continuous journey of growth,” says host Omolara Akerele. “Please join us for our 2025 celebration of Black history and strength.”
