Bear sightings in Bradford

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is reporting a bear sighting in two different areas of town. 

Animal Services is asking residents to be cautious after a bear was reportedly observed at Magani Park and in the Line 13 and Sideroad 5 area. 

"We are asking the public to remain vigilant, not to approach wildlife, and use caution if spotted in the area," a post on the town's Facebook page read. 

Animal Services also asks residents to be mindful of garbage being left outside, which can attract wildlife. 

All bear sightings can be reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Ontario Bear Wise Program at 1 866 514 2327.
