State Farm vs. EG 2 15-10
Mite Softball
Fantastic batting in the first inning by the Jets players. Great hit by Elena R. Superb start to pitching for Erik Z. Sadly a 10-15 loss to EG 1.
Bradford Home Hardware got their first win of the season with a 13-8 victory over EG2. The team showed great patience at the plate, led by Nick M., with strong hitting and defence from Alexis.
Atom Softball
Lomonte & Collings lost 13-4 against the Green Team. L&C had fantastic throwing by catcher Zoe, awesome out at first base by Hayden and amazing third base out by Christian.
Later in the week, they came back with a 9-6 win over Dissette Animal Hospital thanks to great hitting by Jenna with one RBI, great hitting and fielding by
Declan, and great hitting from Jake with two runs!
Bantam Softball
Royalty Stone won 15-9 over BMBA 2. Outstanding pitching from Jackson and Jace. Clutch hits from Emily, Teghan, Jacob and Johnny.
Junior Rookie Hardball
Chris Davies Remax beat Carron Farms 13-6. Remax stars of the game go to Dylan K. for his back-to-back outs at second and to Cooper B. for going four-for-four at bat!
Bradford Lions Club beat IMBA 2 with a score of 11-8. Marcello Z., Payton S. and Jackson G. led the lions with four hits a piece of the team’s 23 hits.
Marcello knocked in three RBI and Jackson made a nice defensive play for the last out of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Senior Rookie Hardball
The bats came to life with a solid team effort and first win of the season, 14-12 over IMBA 4. Big out at third by Alex T., and final out by Landon O.
Ryan's Landscaping took down IMBA 2 17-2. Jacob caught a pop fly while playing left field. Charlie made a great defensive play at first base for an out. Riley hit a double!
Of special note, all Ryan's Landscaping players got at least one hit with many multiples! Great second game, team!
Maria Chidio RMT lost by just one run, 18-17, against IMBA 3.
Solid hitting by Team RMT, which battled back to tie the game in the fifth inning. Special mention goes to Michael L. for getting all three outs at third base in the third inning.
Mosquito Hardball
The season opener for Carron Farms vs. IMBA 1 resulted in a well-deserved 15-15 tie!
Dylan’s two RBIs were backed up with great pitching from William T., Michael, and Colton. What an amazing first game!
Despite a 13-6 loss by Carron Farms to IMBA 3, the game was filled with exciting contributions! Brandon, in his debut as a pitcher, had three strikeouts and strong at-bats from Ryan, Gavin, and William D. Great team effort!
Bantam Hardball
A tightly contested pitching duel ending in an 8-7 victory for Bradford Team 2 over Alliston. Each team had a few hits each thanks to good pitching and defence!
Bradford Team 2 saw a second pitching duel in one week, coming back in the bottom of the inning to win 10-9 after trailing 9-6!
