All games were held between May 21-25.
Junior rookie hardball
Carron Farms won 6 to 4 against Green Team. Star of the game goes to Anthony Simpson with fantastic at-bats and fielding.
Chris Davies Remax lost 6-4 against IMBA 4 in their first game of the season. Jason F. knocked out an impressive double, and Cole M. helped with great fielding.
Bradford Lions Club beat out IMBA 1 7-5. Evan L. lead the night off with the team’s first and his personal first hit!
Senior rookie hardball
MFC Landscaping won 6-3 over Team Green. Austin P. opened the scoring with a two-run single to left centre. Sandro G. was a perfect three-for-three at the plate.
William F., in his first baseball game ever, managed a single that scored a run.
Maria Chiodo RMT beat A&W High Voltage 17-9.
Bellamy Sports won 9-5 over IMBA 1.
Ryan's Landscaping lost 3-8 to IMBA Team 3. A tough loss but encouraging to see many outs in the field for the team.
Mosquito Hardball
Bellamy Sports did a great job of their first game of the season despite an 11-1 loss against Innisfil 1.
Mite Softball
Robert W. Ratusny Barrister & Solicitor took a big 14-3 win against EGMSA 1.
Home Hardware’s team got their season started with an 11-1 loss to EG. Despite the loss, the home team played a great game and showed early signs of a strong season to come. Great pitching by Dillon and Nicholas J., and great defence by Nathan.
Squirt Softball
A close 10-11 loss for State Farm against EG 3. The team hustled on and off the field and were keen to try new positions. This team is going to have a great baseball season!
Bantam Softball
Stouffville beat our Royalty Stone team 17-12. Teaghan M. had two hits, Emily H. scored two runs and Jace W. pitched two effective innings.
