All-natural soap store opens in Holland Landing (11 photos)

The family-owned business opened its new location on Yonge Street in Holland Landing this past weekend

Artisan Baths, a family-owned skincare and baths shop has opened in Holland Landing.

Last Friday, Munira Khambata and her family hosted their official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, with East Gwillimbury mayor Virginia Hackson and members of council.

It's a family affair, with Manira and her daughters Tasneem and Tehera all helping to run the business. Manira is also a registered massage therapist and accupuncturist who has her own studio adjacent to the shop.

From bath bombs to body butters and from soaps to face serums, the business prides itself on crafting handmade, all-natural products made with botanical ingredients.

"On behalf of all members of council here today, I just want to say how excited and honoured we are to have you with us today in East Gwillimbury," said Hackson.

"We have a wonderful new business in our community," she said, noting the great mix of potential clientele from both the new subdivisions, as well as long time residents in the more mature parts of town.

Artisan Baths opened a few years ago, on a small scale, selling at local craft fairs and events. Eventually, they moved to a storefront space on Main Street in Newmarket, but due to the pandemic and financial difficulties had to move locations.

Now, their new shop is conveniently located in Holland Landing, on Yonge Street, in between Newmarket and Bradford.

Artisan Baths is located at 19430 Yonge St. in Holland Landing. You can check out their online shop here, or their Facebook page here
