Due to the overwhelming support for the displaced residents of the Bradford apartment fire at 114 Holland St. West last week, the organizers at WOW Living (A Hand Up Clothing Room) have set up an 'Adopt a Family' system for those looking to help.
To adopt a family, visit the WOW Living Website here, scroll down to the picture of 114 Holland Street and read the instructions for adopting a family or providing particular items, then click ADOPT A NEED to see the list of items you can provide.
Only a few families have been added so far but this list will be updated on an ongoing basis.
Currently, the main needs are specific clothing items, as families are still in temporary accommodations. This system will also be used later on to match people with household goods, so please keep checking back. No donations of household goods can be accepted at this time.
