America your boastful ways have led you here,
pride on the faces of both Canadian and American Teams,
they fought honourably and today Canada's Team Wins!
Fair play, ambition and sportsman ship too,
both teams exemplified the way to play,
fair hard work for each man at play.
Canada's Game of Thrones rises high in pride,
as the vanquished scurry home to return another day.
Oh Canada is truly the Home of the Free,
and put on some skates and share their liberty.
Beware the peaceful citizens of this fair northern land,
they seem polite, patient and welcoming,
but in the ring of battle they are #1.
So God Bless Canada once and for all.
