Due to voter apathy, there was a historically low voter turnout in the 2022 provincial election, resulting in the formation of our present government. Premier Doug Ford still has 17 months left in his term. There is no need to call a snap election.

When seeking a job, one generally provides a resume, outlining qualifications and accomplishments. His include decisions on greenbelt development, Ontario Place development, mishandling of COVID-19, Highway 413, retroactive pay for public-sector workers, alcohol in corner stores (costing Ontario billions), implementing strong mayor powers, dictating community developments, and closing the Ontario Science Centre.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for dumb decisions.

Like American President Donald Trump, Ford's motto seems to be "my way or the highway."

There is a shortage of qualified doctors, nurses, etc.

Health, education and the environment are the victims of poor government choices. Prioritize.

Although February is not conducive to get voters out, exercise your right. Get out and vote!

Elve Sepa,
Bradford West Gwillimbury
