We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Bradford council for reviewing their decision regarding the holding of Jalsa Salana Canada within the municipality.
It is more than a convention; it is a fountain of peace, harmony, and knowledge for thousands. Several who participated in Jalsa here in Bradford shared how it brought the community together and made everyone feel welcome.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is committed to serving society. During Jalsa, local businesses benefit from the partnerships, and we respect the infrastructure and environment of the town. New plans — improved traffic management and public meetings — are evidence of our concern for resolution through co-operation.
Jalsa Salana is not only about religion; it’s about building bridges. People from different faiths and backgrounds come to feel the harmony and mutual respect. It reflects Canada’s values of diversity and inclusion.
Bradford is a municipality of friendly people; let’s keep this tradition going by holding Jalsa once more. We collectively can make the event a success and a beneficial one for one and all.
We are ready to work with the town to make this a success. Thank you, Bradford, for giving us this opportunity to show what Jalsa truly stands for.
