BradfordToday and InnisfilToday welcome letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). BradfordToday received the following letter from a Cookstown reader regarding the "Big Brother" approach in Ontario.

I moved to Ontario for school in 1993 and the following year the NDP government brought in photo radar.

Coming from western Canada, the Big Brother approach surprised me. Everyone wants less speeding on our streets, but for me photo radar and other types of government surveillance is bad optics.

Some municipalities such as Bradford insist on this surveillance approach. I now avoid Bradford.
