I was pleased to see that the publication recognized the significance of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in 2024.
I believe your article last April regarding the crucial role fourplexes would play in creating gentler intensification for the Town of Bradford effectively illustrated what a fourplex would look like in our communities. When you reported on this proposal, you correctly defined a fourplex as a building with four units under one roof.
My primary point has consistently been that a fourplex is not a triplex with an ADU in the backyard. However, the town’s reporting has deviated significantly from this expectation.
Thank you for making this an important newsmaker for 2024.
