The following is in response to an article about Bradford's proposed 2025 budget, which was published on Nov. 14.

I read the article about council debating the draft 2025 budget and the proposed property tax increase being lowered by using revenue from speed cameras.

I know Mayor James Leduc used his strong mayor powers to dissolve the traffic safety committee. Was this in anticipation of grabbing the revenue from speed enforcement and using it for other projects? I appreciate the tax break but they should adopt a 'don’t spend it if you don’t have it' mentality like all of us have to.
Just saying.
