Young pianist and piano teacher, Anneka te Bokkel will be featured in “A Night of Piano” – an evening of piano solos and duets at the Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute Hall in Newton Robinson, on June 15.
Presented by the Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute, the concert will include te Bokkel performing the Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music Program and other selections. She will be accompanied by a number of special guests – including her own piano teacher Megan Newcombe, as well as Newcombe’s students Nathaniel Hong and Tessa Prasuhn, and Anneka’s sister, Emmeline te Bokkel.
Anneka te Bokkel has launched her own piano school, Lessons in the Loft, and earlier this year participated in a Talent Show at the Newton Robinson Hall, which raised funds to repair and tune the circa-1905 piano at the hall.
Tickets are $10 each, free for children under 16. Tickets are available at 705-458-8964 or contact [email protected].
Seating is not reserved. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on June 15 at the Newton Robinson Hall, 4380 Line 10 in Bradford West Gwillimbury. The concert begins at 7 p.m., followed by refreshments and a reception.
