It’s true. Life hit me hard, that’s for sure.
My name is Rocky, and I’ve been staying at the shelter for a little while. My owner got sick and had to move away. I had to move, too, from the only place I’ve ever known.
I’m a lover though, not a fighter.
I love people, and I love attention and pets and treats and walks and treats and kisses and...treats. I love just about everything!
One might say I’m in my Golden Years at the age of nine, but I can strut my stuff like any of those younger dogs. They’ve got nothing on me!
I am looking for an adult-only home with no other dogs — it’s a lot of pressure on a guy like me, as I’ve always been an only dog. No small kids either please.
I just want to relax. We can relax together. I’m getting relax-y just writing this!
Please come out and see me. I’ll bark at you, but I’m either just saying, “Hi!” or reciting Rocky movie quotes.
